70 % Merlot
20 % cabernet sauvignon
10 % cabernet franc
The Bordeaux are a blend of several well-known grape varieties: cabernet
sauvignon gives the richness and tannins, cabernet franc is the one which gives the
smoothness and elegance and the Merlot brings the fullness and body.

The vinification
Type of vat: stainless steel vats
Time of fermentation: about 3 weeks
Vats are pumped over twice a day
Temperature of fermentation: between 23-30°C

Ageing
Time in vats: Stainless steel vats, and in summertime cement vats-length of time to
maturity: 18 months.
Type of bottle: heavy
 

Tasting
Lovely fresh, dense, clear ruby colour. The nose is characterized by acidulous, fresh
red fruit, with chalky notes. Full-bodied and refined in the mouth, well-rounded and a
little acidulous, with a pleasant persistent fruity aftertaste. Good for another five or six
years.
