Grape varieties:

Merlot 50% / Portan 30% / Cabernet franc 15% / Syrah 5%

Merlot is the dominant grape; it is partially vinified in oak casks of which 5% in new oak

Portan is a hybrid of Portugais blue and grenache; produces a remarkable round fruity wine

vinified on its lees

Cabernet franc and syrah provide subtle tannins and silky smoothness

Tasting notes:

The wine is a beautiful deep red colour. On the nose red berries, fruits of the forest, spicy. On the palate, unctuous, spicy, cocoa, supported by gentle tannins. Liquorice with a hint of incense.
